Poly Loot Loot Planner

A static worksheet for slot priorities, vendor rules, elemental crafts, and upgrade spend order.

Loot Planner

The Loot Planner is a static worksheet for Poly Loot players who want upgrade decisions written down before the next rare drop forces a panic choice. Use it beside live farms, after boss or shrine hauls, and whenever elemental craft pieces start competing with ordinary gear spends. Nothing here auto-rolls loot—copy the tables into notes and fill them honestly.

Poly Loot is a Roblox Action RPG from the Poly Loot group (Overnight Creations). The published loop is defeat monsters, collect loot, equip better gear, level up, and explore new worlds on Desktop, Mobile, and Console in servers of up to eight players. As of September 2026, Jungle-themed content is the major world focus, so themed drops may temporarily outrank older fillers on Jungle routes. Pair this page with the Tools Hub overview and the Session Checklist so planning and session ritual stay linked.

How to use this planner

  1. Fill Slot priorities before a long farm block.
  2. Apply Vendor rules every inventory reset.
  3. Track Elemental craft goals as dedicated lines—not random bag clutter.
  4. Follow Upgrade spend order unless a timed clear says otherwise.
  5. Recheck after weekend codes and after reading the Updates Hub.

Acquisition habits live in How to Farm Loot. Ranking context lives on the Tier List Hub. This page decides what you keep and what you spend.

Slot priority worksheet

Rank each slot from 1 (fix now) to 5 (ignore this session). Rewrite ranks when your death cause changes.

Priority hints

  • If you die often, raise armor and stabilizing accessories before chasing screenshot weapons.
  • If clears are safe but slow, raise the primary weapon first.
  • Keep backup weapons only when you truly dual-purpose; otherwise they are vendor fuel.
  • Leave a mats reserve line for spider webs, elemental pieces, and other craft inputs so they are not auto-vendored.

Cross-check categories with the Weapon Tier List and Armor and Gear Tier List. Early accounts can seed priorities from Best Early Game Build.

Vendor rules (write them once, obey them always)

Adopt hard rules so mid-fight decisions stay fast:

  • Vendor commons that lose to equipped pieces on both clear speed and survivability
  • Keep at most one alternate weapon unless dual-purpose is real
  • Never vendor labeled craft inputs (elementals, webs, quest items) without reading the craft UI
  • Prefer equipping a strict upgrade immediately over “maybe later” hoarding
  • Clear junk every loop so rare drops always have space
  • After codes or events, re-run the vendor pass—free bags fill with clutter too

Codes timing belongs on the Codes Hub and the Session Checklist. Vendor discipline belongs here.

Elemental craft goals

Elemental hunts are craft-key projects, not always today’s best DPS sticks. Track them as dedicated goals:

Red and Blue Elementals

  • Route planned with Red and Blue Elementals
  • Inventory space reserved before the windmill and bridge-cave pickups
  • Both colors secured / banked
  • Craft UI checked before spending related mats
  • Resulting upgrade compared against current clear speed on the weapon tier list

Community guidance is blunt: standalone Red and Blue pieces can feel weak, but both colors feed stronger follow-up crafts. Do not skip Blue because Red felt disappointing.

Green Elemental

  • Green hunt queued when ready via the Green Elemental Guide
  • Bag space reserved specifically for the green piece
  • Noted whether green feeds the same craft chain or a parallel goal
  • Compared any green-related craft result against Jungle or early-route needs

Keep elemental lines separate from normal rare clutter so you never vendor a craft key by accident. If Jungle foliage sits on the path, skim the Jungle World Guide before the detour.

Upgrade spend order

When multiple upgrades and currency compete in one session, spend in this order unless a timed objective overrides it:

  1. Death cause fix — the armor or accessory that removes what actually kills you
  2. Clear-speed weapon — the primary weapon that shortens the packs you farm today
  3. Stabilizers — accessories that keep long loops healthy
  4. Craft progression — elemental or mat spends that unlock a planned recipe
  5. Speculative / fashion — last, if at all

Checklist form:

  • Identified the real bottleneck (deaths vs slow clears)
  • Spent on step 1 or 2 first
  • Kept a small emergency reserve before hard unlocks
  • Re-tested a standard pack after each major spend
  • Logged the result next to XP goals from How to Level Up Fast

Objective hauls from the Shrine Guide or Spider Boss Guide still follow this order. A flashy boss drop that fails the bottleneck test is not an automatic spend.

Session loot plan template

Copy and fill before Play:

  • Today’s farm zone / route:
  • Primary slot to improve:
  • Vendor rule reminder:
  • Elemental / craft line active? (Red/Blue / Green / none):
  • Upgrade currency reserved for:
  • Stop condition (bag full / KPI hit / Jungle unlock):

Then run the farm loop from How to Farm Loot: approach, clear, scoop, equip, reset.

Jungle-era planning notes

During the Jungle theme:

  • Write themed weapon vs armor vs accessory targets before you enter leafy routes.
  • Promote Jungle-leaning pieces on Jungle farms; demote them if they fail elsewhere.
  • Recheck Jungle update notes after hotfixes that touch drops or enemies.
  • Do not derail an entire planner for one mismatched themed cosmetic.

Planner mistakes to avoid

Empty priorities. If every slot is “priority 1,” nothing is. Vendoring craft keys. Elementals and webs are not normal commons. Spending on fashion first. Ignoring bottleneck tests after a spend. Planning Jungle tourism without a retreat or target slot. Skipping the session checklist so codes and controls never make it into the plan.

Loot planning is how Poly Loot’s simple fantasy stays efficient. Rank slots, obey vendor rules, protect elemental craft goals, and spend upgrades in bottleneck order. Keep this worksheet open beside your farm guide and tier lists, and every haul—from packs, shrines, bosses, or weekend codes—pushes a build you already defined instead of a bag you cannot explain.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Poly Loot questions.

Is the Loot Planner an interactive calculator?

No. It is a static markdown worksheet for slot priorities, vendor rules, elemental craft goals, and upgrade spend order.

How do I choose slot priorities?

Fix the slot causing deaths first, then the weapon that most improves today’s clear speed. Rank the rest lower for this session.

Why track Red, Blue, and Green Elementals separately?

They often matter as craft inputs more than as immediate DPS sticks. Separate lines stop you from vendoring keys by mistake.

What is the default upgrade spend order?

Death-cause gear, clear-speed weapon, stabilizing accessories, planned crafts, then speculative or fashion spends last.

Should I use this with the Session Checklist?

Yes. Use the Session Checklist before Play, then this Loot Planner when deciding what to keep, vendor, and upgrade.
